2022 Christmas Video
We need MORE Christmas now!

SEE WALTMAN CHRISTMAS 2022 VIDEO

Some days we have felt like a groundhog peeking out to see if a shadow will greet us, but more often, we are seeing sunshine peeking through the clouds! So, the season of joy and remembering the reason for the season fans the flames of hope! We definitely need a little Christmas now!

We started the year saying goodbye to Charlie’s mom, the matriarch of the Waltman clan. Kathleen “Kitty” or “Naneen” Waltman is now on her pink, fluffy cloud, enjoying the mansion Big Bob has surely been working on awaiting her arrival. The family has finally cleared out a very full house with generations of memories, and it will go on the market soon – let us know of anyone looking for a beautiful home that has played host to multiple parties as well as a full, active family in lovely South Baton Rouge neighborhood.

We honored Naneen by attending the Romany Ball for a festive, fun time! Then the St. Patrick’s Day Parade was also a way to keep Charlie’s brother-in-law, Richard O’Brien’s memory alive – also a nice time to catch up with friends. We are also enjoying some renewed friendships with lovely neighbors who have surrounded us with love.

Work, family & friends fill out our days.

Charlie is still working with the Louisiana Travel Association to invite folks to travel to our exciting, beautiful, and delicious state! 😊 Let us know when you are coming for a visit!

Wynne is also mostly working with tourism clients, seeming to intersect with Charlie’s travels more and more often! This summer included a couple of tradeshow trips to represent Louisiana in West Virginia & Florida, and a side visit with our dear friends, Paul & Heidi Padgett!

As this year rolls into another, we are grateful for new opportunities and new milestones as we continue to grow and adapt and love one another the best we can.

Megan is about 2 months into teaching math full-time at Mayfair Lab School. This is such a positive step into her new normal, we are finding hope in new challenges! She is loving the energy of all the kids in spite of some teenager moments! Keep the kids and Megan in your prayers throughout the spring semester!

Noelle turns 2 on New Year’s Eve and is an absolute joy! She is enjoying her friends and teachers at “school” and loves saying “hi” to just about everyone. She is a busy bee who is happy with just about any activity, except naps!

Jordan managed a 4.0 this semester (even with math, thanks Megan). Jordan is working hard to finish up all the prerequisites to take the entrance exam this summer to get into Sonogram School. They only take a handful of students each year, so definitely keep her in your prayers this spring and summer.

Daisy is still taking her job as emotional support animal very seriously, offering soothing snuggles and fresh air walks as needed.

We are looking forward to some time to relax and enjoy the holidays and ring in the new year with new hope for a new (and improved) 2023.

And Daisy!
